Mrs. W.A. Bassman, 60, of 111 Boonville road, died at 3 pm Sunday at St. Mary's hospital. Death was due to coronary thrombosis. Her husband is vice president and a trust officer of the Central Missouri Trust company.
Funeral services will be held at 2:30 tomorrow with burial in Riverview Cemetery.
Mrs. Bassman suffered a stroke of paralysis 12 years ago and had not been in good health since. She suffered a heart attack last Wednesday morning and was taken to the hospital then.
She was born July 28, 1890, at Edina, Mo., the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J.A. Vansickle. Her parents came to Jefferson City when she was a small child and she had resided here since.
She was educated in the public schools and married Oct. 8, 1919.
She is survived by her husband; one son, Robert O. Bassman, St. Louis county; two daughters, Mrs, Marvin Enloe, Kirksville and Mrs. S.A. Sochinski, Jefferson City; two sisters, Mrs. M.L. Hodges, St. Louis and Mrs. N.J. Opel, Jefferson City; one brother, Edward O. Roberts, Kansas City; and four grandchildren.
She was a member of the Methodist Church, Marshall circle of the church, Victoria chapter of the Eastern Star and Vietch Rebekah Lodge.
