Hattie E. Adkins, 90, 2204 10th St., died Friday morning at her residence.

Service will be at 11 a.m. Monday at Faith Lutheran Church. The Rev. Phillip Hanson will officiate.


Burial will be in the Cedar Lawn Cemetery.

Mrs. Adkins was a lifetime resident of Council Bluffs.

She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church and the Lutheran Women Missionary League.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dean in 1954.

She is survived by two daughters, Dorothy E. Levenhagen of Fremont, Neb. and Carol A. McKinley of Council Bluffs, two sons, Robert D. Sr., of Council Bluffs, and Richard H. of Carroll; two sisters, Dorothy Morrison and Bernice Thacker, both of Council Bluffs; one brother, Donald Kadereit of Council Bluffs, 25 grandchildren and 37 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be from 2 and 4 p.m., Sunday at Meyer Funeral Home. A prayer service will be held at 4 p.m.

Memorials may be given to Faith Lutheran Church.
