I had a hard time putting all Grandma's good traits into writing. No matter how hard I try, I can never do justice to what she overcame in her lifetime. I know we are all grieving today for WE ALL lost a great lady. But I know wherever she is now; she's happy and content with what she left us.

She was a mother, a sister and a friend to all of us. I'm sure each and every one of you here today has something to share on how my grandmother touched your life. She shared a lot of good memories, especially with me, her favorite grandchild. Grandma ALWAYS had a BIG smile on her face! At intake the hospice nurse asked what her hobbies where she replied, "LIVING". Yea, Grandma LOVED to live life to its fullest! There was nothing better to her than a GOOD DAY BUMMING, stop somewhere for a GREAT BOWL of SOUP, and a LOAF of bread for the house. As a kid she often watched Michael, Jason, myself and of course Kim during the summer. She loved nothing more than to have us join her on her adventure for a good bumming day in her BLACK, 4-door, CHEVY.

Awe, the FUN we had in that car! It could jump the bumps in the road on Belle Isle!

We as kids weren't always excited about going bumming. We'd negotiate that the day had to include fresh lunch meat, ginger ale in this bottle that looked like a beer bottle, and best of all, she had to let us put our feet out the window of the car while she was driving. I don't know there was something about hanging your feet out the window of the CHEVY, eating your sandwich, and drinking out of that bottle. Awe, the days I miss Grandma!

I mentioned Grandma stopping for soup.. She LOVED all types of FOOD in general, but her favorite was SOUP! She could just taste a soup and tell you all that was in it. And if you don't already know Grandma made the MOST amazing soups!! Her czarnina, Beet Soup, and uh, her BEEF Barley soup!!

I have to pay tribute to the past Thanksgiving! It was the best ever!! Aunt Sandy did a lot of the shopping, Aunt Dolly cleaned the house, Kim & John helped set-up, Katrina brought pierogies, Monica brought dessert, and somehow Jason & Michael found the strength to transport Grandma to and from Clinton Aire. All this so we could all be together for Thanksgiving at home. It was an amazing FAMILY group effort. And so special because it was out last holiday with you Grandma! It was TRULY something to be Thankful for!!

Grandma you will always be remembered!! All the bumming, amazing soups, playing the lottery every day, all the laughs and the HUGE smile on your face, oh, I can't forget we will always remember the this past Thanksgiving, bumming, awesome soups, playing lottery tickets every day, the huge smile on your face, and how could we forget the paper towel in your pocket.

I LOVE you Grandma!♥
Thank you for all of the memories! I'll NEVER FORGET you!!
