Rev. Corbett Dempsey Holstein, 70, of Hilltop died July 9, 1994, at VA Medical Center, Beckley, after a long illness.
He was a native of Coalburg and a retired coal mine superintendent. He was a World War II veteran and a former pastor of several churches.
Surviving: wife, Madeline Withrow Holstein; sons, Darrell of Elyria, Ohio, Dempsey of Princeton, Larry of Hickory, N.C.; sisters, Betty Buckner of Fairmont, Janet Sheets of Farmington, N.M.; brothers, Bud Wheeler of Meadow Bridge, James Wheeler of El Paso, Texas; five grandchildren.
Service will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill, with the Rev. Jerry Cantley officiating.
Burial will be in Gethsemane Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
Friends may call from 6 to 8 p. m. today at the funeral home.
