LEWISTON — Olivette Morin Beaudette, 88, passed away Friday, Dec. 23.

She was born in Lewiston, the daughter of Ludger and Laura (Gilbert) Desjardins, on Nov. 19, 1923.

She married Gerald B. Morin in 1948, who passed away in 1978. She married Raymond Beaudette in 1987, who passed away in 2007.

Olivette was employed for many years at the Continental Mill and several local shoe shops.

She was a member of Holy Cross Church of the Prince of Peace Parish, the Ladies of St. Anne, Lewiston Senior Citizens, Holy Cross Senior Citizens and the Freedom Bowling League. She also enjoyed making crafts, reading, bowling, and playing cards. Most of all she enjoyed visits with her children and grandchildren and her cribbage-partner niece.

Survivors include her daughters, Carmen Laliberte and husband, Paul of Lewiston, Irene Morin Weinstein of Lewiston, Diane Bonneau and husband, Roland and Joline L'Heureux and husband, Andre Decarrie; two sons, Paul Beaudette and wife, Jean and Dave Beaudette and wife, Lesley; four grandsons, John and Michael Laliberte and Aaron and Samuel Weinstein; as well as step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents; her husbands, Gerald and Raymond; two sisters, Irene Freve and Anita Turgeon; and two brothers, Roger and Gilbert Desjardins.
