Anna Bertram, 91, of Mallery Place, Wilkes-Barre, died Sunday at the Mercy Special Care Hospital, Nanticoke. Born May 10, 1905, in Pikes Creek, she was a daughter of the late Joseph and Maria Sarata Rydzewski. She was a member of St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, Wilkes-Barre, and its Ladies Christian Charity. She was preceded in death by her husband, John P., in 1981; and a son, Robert J., in 1994; a brother, Joseph Rydzewski; sisters, Edna Jones; Mary Zukowski; and Stella Chernefski. Surviving are a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Lucille S. Bertram, Wilkes-Barre; five grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; a brother, Anthony Rydzewski; a sister, Esther Rydzewski, Wilkes-Barre; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 9 a.m. Tuesday from the Nat & Gawlas Funeral Home, Park Avenue and South Street, Wilkes-Barre, with a funeral Mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Mary's Church of the Immaculate Conception, Wilkes-Barre.
