Joseph William Benfer, beloved husband and father, entered into eternal rest, on December 22, 2011, age the age of 93. He was born in San Antonio, Texas to parents Earnest and Mary Benfer, on June 4, 1918. Joseph was an electronic technician for the Civil Service for 30 years. He will be greatly missed by his family and friends. Joseph was preceded in death by his parents; children, Debra Andreola and John Michael Benfer; and twin sister, Josephine. He is survived by his loving wife of 56 years, Virginia; daughter Mavis Everett; sister, Mary Seaver; and numerous nieces, nephews and friends. There will be a Graveside Service at Sunset Memorial Park, 1701 Austin Hwy., San Antonio, Texas, on Monday, December 26, 2011, at 10:00 a.m. The family would like to thank the professionals of A-Med Hospice for their kind help, especially David Pearson.
