BRIGHTON, Colo. - Jan J Smith passed away on Dec. 11, 2011.
She was born Aug. 5, 1946, to Elizabeth Jannette (McCann) Davis and John Melton Davis in Cedar Falls, Iowa.
She is survived by her son Ron Westendorf; daughter, Jaron Hitchcock; step-sons, Jake and Bryon Smith; sister, Mary Hall; half brother, Mike Davis; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her beloved husband, Lyle Smith; her identical twin sister, Ann J. Wahner, and her son, Donald Westendorf.
Her services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 22, at Tabor-Rice Funeral Home, Brighton, Colo. Her burial will take place 1 p.m. on Jan. 16, 2012, at Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.
