Funeral This Afternoon for Ursla Mauzy

Miss Ursla Mauzy, of Smith Creek, died Monday night at 8:50 in Rockingham Memorial Hospital, Harrisonburg, Va., where she had been a patient since September 28. She was taken to the hospital after falling at her home and breaking her hip.
Miss Mauzy was a daughter of James Clark and Mary Jane (Judy) Mauzy. She was born at Zigler (now Smith Creek).
She is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Glenn (Maycel) Sponaugle, Franklin; one sister, Vadie Mauzy, Franklin; three brothers, Fred and Luther, at home and Howard, of Cortland, New York, and two grandchildren.
A daughter, five sisters and a brother proceded her in death.
Funeral services will be conducted from the Smith Creek Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints this afternoon at 1:30 o'clock with Elder Charles I. Roby, of Cumberland, Md., and Elder Dice Armstrong, of Doe Hill, VA., officiating.
Interment will be by Brown Funeral Service in the Mauzy family cemetery at Smith Creek.
The body will be taken to the church one hour before the service to lie in state.
