Henry served in the Rev. War as a private in Col. Hitchcock’s R.I. Regiment. He was also in the Continental Army and MA line. His younger brothers John Abbott (1758-1825) and James Abbott (1760-1837) also served in the Revolutionary War.
His first wife was Keziah White, and they had five children all born in Boothbay between 1786 and 1796:
