Wayne Arnold Dies In Seattle, Washington
Wayne M. Arnold, 34, of Seattle, formerly of Gordon, died recently following an illness of three weeks. Born August 11, 1915 at Burke, SD., he grew to manhood there and was married to Martha Stelvig in South Dakota. He moved to Wenatchee, Wash., in 1938. Mr. Arnold was a member of the Presbyterian church and Ballard lodge, Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was chaplain of the aerie at the time of his death.
Surviving are his wife, Martha; his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harry M. Arnold of Wenatchee; one daughter, Earla Mae Arnold of Seattle; three brothers, Russell of Wenatchee, Lowell of Baker, Ore., and Vernon of San Francisco, Calif.; two sisters, Mrs. H. R. Cash of Wenatchee and Mrs. Levi Roth of Gordon, Nebr.
Funeral services were held at the Mittelstadt funeral home in Seattle. Graveside services were held in Wenatchee cemetery with the Rev. Sheldon O. Price officiating.
