WAUKESHA, Wis. Lola E. Verbugt of Waukesha, Wis., died Monday, Oct. 17, 2005, at Community Memorial Hospital in Menomonee Falls, Wis., at age 102. Lola was born in Waukesha on Nov. 16, 1902, the daughter of William and Emma (nee Wiesenthal) Wolf. She graduated from Waukesha High School and married Carl Verbugt on Jan. 30, 1942; he preceded her in death in April 1970.

Lola worked as a stenographer at Wisconsin Electric Power Co. for many years before retiring. She was a longtime member of Evangelical and Reformed United Church of Christ in Waukesha, and belonged to the church's Priscilla Circle. Most recently, she was a resident at Waukesha Springs Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Lola will be sadly missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held at 7 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, at Cesarz, Charapata & Zinnecker Funeral Home, 237 N. Moreland Blvd., Waukesha, with Rev. James Gorman officiating. Visitation will be held from 5 p.m. until the 7 p.m. service at the funeral home. Interment will be held on Friday, Oct. 21, at Highland Memorial Park in New Berlin.
