Death of Mrs. Henry McBride.

Mrs. Henry McBride, born Martha Mouton, daughter of Mrs. Edward Mouton, died last night at 8 o'clock in the town of st. Martinville. Her remains will be brought to Lafayette and interred the the Catholic cemetery this town.

Henry McBride (Walter Scott McBride3, Judith Higginbotham2, Judith Ware1) was born 9 SEP 1875 in Rayne, Acadia Parish, Louisiana, and died 19 MAY 1938 in Rayne, Acadia Parish, Louisiana. He married Nellie Goolsby. She was born 1884 in Texas, and died BEF 1930. He married Gertel Shoemaker. She was born in North Carolina. He married Martha Mouton 30 MAY 1900 in Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana, daughter of Edouard Eugene Mouton and Marie Athenais Vavasseur. She was born 1878 in Lafayette, Lafayette Parish, Louisiana.

Died

At seven o'clock Tuesday night the 8th inst, Mrs. Henry McBride born Martha Mouton died. mrs. McBride had given birth to a child a few days previous, the child dying, the mother was not considered seriously sick until symptoms developed for the worse and her death soon followed.
Very few of her relatives and friends knew of her sickness and the announcement of her death was a painful surprie to all.
The remains of Mrs. McBride were taken to Lafayette Wednesday for burial in the family tomb.
