Daughter of William and Sarah Jane Brown Collins. Cora married (1) William Henry Rushing, and (2) Cord Altman.

MULLINS - Mrs. Cora V. Altman, native of Marion County, daughter of the late William and Sarah Jane Brown Collins, died in Mullins Hospital early Tuesday morning, after an illness of about seven months.

Funeral services will be held in the Church of God at 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, conducted by the Rev. J. A. Belk. Burial will be in Cedardale Cemetery.

Mrs. Altman was first married to the late W. H. Rushing and from this marriage two sons survive, Bernard Rushing of Darlington and H. L. Rushing of Mullins; one daughter, Mrs. Paul Elliott of Nichols.

From her second marriage to the late Cordie Altman there survives one daughter, Mrs. Hazel Shauetz of Miami; and one son, Erskine Altman of Mullins. Also surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Duncan Rogers and Mrs. C. R. Hatfield, both of Mullins; 18 grandchildren; and 1 great grandchild;
