He had worked for the American Red Cross for many years until his retirement in 2002. Arlo loved the outdoors and enjoyed both hunting and fishing. He loved his dogs Peanut and Shadow but especially he loved his family.
He is survived by his loving wife Marilyn; daughter Chris Ann Pickens; brothers Steven (Melissa) Pickens and Scott (Teresa) Pickens; sisters Sue Pickens (Deena), Nanette Pickens and Debra (Gary) Parks and several nieces and nephews.
A Memorial Service was held for Arlo on January 14, 2012
at DeWitt Gorsline Runciman Funeral Home.
