Death of Luke Geren --- "Luke Geren, who conducted a grocery store at this place several years ago, died at his home in St. Joseph Saturday night at the age of 79 years 2 months and one day. The deceased was united in marriage to Ida Parrish who passed away in 1918. He leaves one daughter, Grace Near, and one brother, James Geren of Omaha, Nebraska. Mr. Geren had resided in St. Joseph for the past 18 years and was a harness maker until he retired a few years ago. The body was brought to this place Monday afternoon and internment made in the Meadville cemetery.
