Sheriff T. D. Newland arrived from Vincennes, Ind., Friday night with the supposed murderers of old man Apt, near Ottenheim, who was found at his home on the 25th, and thought to have been killed on the 23d.

The case of George Petrey and Joe Durham for the murder of Leonz Abt were called Tuesday, but on account of the absence of witnesses, the examination was postponed till Saturday at 10 o'clock. Hill & McRoberts will represent the accused.
