Wes served in the United States Army Artillery,in Korea, and received the Korean Service Medal with three Bronze Stars. He was a retired mechanic, having worked for Maxim Motors, Nichols Transportation, Bradford Steel, and the Freetown Highway Department. He was a member of the East Freetown Congregational Christian Church, where he was a former trustee and moderator.
Kenneth also belonged to the 5-C Couples Club. He was trustee of the East Freetown Historical Society, past master of Star in the East Lodge A.F. & A.M. of New Bedford, Scottish Rite Lodge S.E. Mass Wareham, East Freetown Grange #307. He was a volunteer, delivering Meals on Wheels.
Survivors include a daughter, Wendy J. and her husband David A. Guthrie of Lee, NH, two sisters, Carol Lawrence of Rochester, Sherley Zeller of Utah, two grandsons, Erik C. and Cody A. Guthrie, both of Lee, NH. He was brother of the late M. Garrison Winslow, and Eunice Jenkins.
