Clyde M Huber, 88, of rural Williamsfield, died Tuesday at 12:05 AM in Galesburg Cottage Hospital.
He was born in Knox County June 22, 1893. He married Jessie May Mackie July 25, 1920.
Surviving are his wife; two sons, William of Albany, NY, and John Robert of Los Gatos, CA; one daughter, Mrs. Charles (May Olive) Flickinger of Williamsfield; one sister, Mrs. Beth Mackie of Williamsfield; six grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
He was a member of Williamsfield United Methodist Church, Williamsfield American Legion Post 371, Galesburg Rifle Club and the Kidder Button Club, Galesburg. He was educated in rural schools and attended Williamsfield High School. He farmed all his life. He served in the US Army in World War I.
Funeral will be Thursday at 1:30 PM in Williamsfield United Methodist Church, Rev. Jack Talmage officiating. Burial will be in Williamsfield Cemetery. Friends may call at Johnson-Gill-Schuster Chapel, Galva, Wednesday from 7 to 9 PM.
Memorials may be made to Williamsfield United Methodist Church, the family said.
