Elizabeth K WYLIE Betty was born December 15, 1918 in Prosser, Washington. She died December 11, 2011 at her home in Seattle where she lived for 70 years. She moved to Seattle in 1936. In 1939 she married Earl Wylie. They moved to their new home on Haller Lake in 1942 where they raised a family and Betty lived until her death. She was active and independent until her final years. Family camping trips and gatherings at her home on Haller Lake were a highlight. In her later years, she loved spending time with and traveling with her friend Joe Berling. She volunteered at Northwest Hospital for many years and worked at North Seattle Community College for 20 years retiring in 1988. Betty is preceded in death by her husband of 29 years Earl, son Richard, parents Charles and Ida Klingberg, brother Carl Klingberg, sister Marguerite Guernsey and friend Joe. Betty is survived by her sons Thomas (Linda) and Jerome (Marilyn); grandchildren Tanja (Troy) Jones, Charles (Beth) Wylie, Clea Willow Petrie, Suzi (John) Zook and Ellie Wylie, Cousin Marilyn Klingberg Lambrecht (David), 9 great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Betty was a generous caring lady who gave unselfish support and love to all. A Special Thanks to Melesiana Kete for the loving care she provided in Betty's final years.
