Darcy Marie Van Gerpen, 31, of Nampa, passed away on Saturday, Aug. 23, 2003, at her home of natural causes. Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday, Aug. 29, at the Nampa Funeral Home, Yraguen Chapel, 415 12th Ave. S., Nampa. Burial will be in the Hillcrest Memorial Gardens, Caldwell.
Darcy was born on Nov. 18, 1971, to Jerry and Marian (Dragoo) Van Gerpen in Cedar Rapid, Iowa. She was raised in Nampa and graduated from Nampa High School in 1990. At the time of her death she was employed at Elmer's restaurant. Her animals were her life.
She is survived by: her parents, Jerry and Marian Van Gerpen of Nampa; her sisters, Dorenna and Stacey Schrader of Nampa; four brothers, Deric and Vicky Van Gerpen of Meridian, David and Sonse Van Gerpen of Nampa, Damon and Dawn Van Gerpen of Kuna and Darren and Debbie Van Gerpen of Emmett; and 15 nieces and nephews.
