Mrs. Berg, 88, died July 12.
Born in Rothsay, Minnesota, she moved to Spokane in 1926. She graduated from Eastern Washington University and taught for School District 81 for 35 years. She retired in 1970 and moved to San Diego, California. Her husband, Clifford Berg, died earlier.
Survivors include a son, Dr. Douglas Berg of Veradale; a daughter, Carol Ann Berg Jackson of Silverdale, Washington; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
