He was the husband of Faye (Hopper) Ballew and the son of
"Doodle" Ballew and Ruth (Prichard) Ballew born to them on May 27, 1950 in Knox Co., KY.
Mr. Ballew believed in the Baptist Faith.
He is preceded in death by his Father, Doodle Ballew, and one brother, Randall Ballew.
Survivors include, his wife Faye Ballew of Barbourville, KY,
his mother, Ruth Ballew of Artemus, KY,
two sons, Terry Ballew and wife Susan of Woodbine, KY
and Mark Ballew of Barbourville,
one brother, Robert Ballew of Artemus,
and two sisters, Barbara Henson and husband Cles and Margie Ballew all of Artemus,
two grandchildren, Dustin and Dylan Ballew, several nieces and nephews,
a very dear sister-in-law, Carol Reed and husband Tom of Mt. Sterling
and two very special friends, Larry and Joan McClure of Corbin.
Mr. Ballew also leaves behind a host of many other relatives and friends to mourn his passing.
Funeral services for Mr. Ballew will be conducted in the Hampton Funeral Home Chapel on Friday, May 16, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Jim Cook and Rev. Geral Wells officiating. Pallbearers will be family & friends.
Burial will be in the Barbourville Cemetery. Hampton Funeral Home will be in charge of all arrangements.
Visitation will be Thursday evening 6-9 and Friday 9-2.
