Aiken, SC – Entered into rest on July 16, 2011, Mrs. Yvonne Wright Baker, 59, wife of Mr. Jack L. Baker of Aiken, SC.
Yvonne was born in Augusta, GA to the late Henry Earl Wright and Ruth Burch Wright. She was preceded in death by a brother, the late Lawrence E. Wright. She was a lifelong area resident, a graduate of Jackson High School and a member of Redd's Branch Baptist Church. She enjoyed participating on a Mission Trip to St. Thomas, USVI. Mrs. Baker worked as a General Manager for North American Van Lines with 25 years of dedicated service. Her family said that she will be remembered most for her giving heart.
Surviving are her husband, Jack L. Baker, Aiken, SC; her daughters, Gena H. Lewis (William), Aiken, SC, Jacqueline H. Boyd, Aiken, SC and Kimberly Y. Jump (fiancé Michael Parrish), Aiken, SC; an adopted son, Charles Ray Moore and an adopted daughter, Dori Beth Hill; her grandchildren, Nicole, April and Jillian M. Boyd; three brothers and one sister.
A Memorial Service celebrating her life will be held on Tuesday at 7 o'clock at Redd's Branch Baptist Church, Aiken, SC.
