Edward C. Anderson , Jr. Was born April 10, 1931 to the late Edward and Jessie Anderson Sr. He exchanged time for eternity on December 6, 2011. He was a member of New Mount Moriah Baptist Church, The Gales of Joy, The Bliblical-Heirs, The Spiritual Stars and the Spiritual Jubilaires. He was a retired employee of Union Tank Car Co. and owner of Mobile Food Service Business where he sold rib tips, catfish, chicken wings and Lil'Bros hamburgers. He was preceded in death by sisters, Octavia Moss, Mattie Elijah, Ruth Anderson, brothers C.A. Anderson and Richard Anderson. He leaves to cherish fond memories: Loving wife Mary P. Anderson, 2 sisters, Henrietta Elijah of Muskegon, Ml, and Orlean "Ellen" Wimberly (Donald) of Grand Rapids, MI. 2 brothers, Linzie (Darlean) Anderson and Charles (Sue) Anderson, all of Muskegon, MI. Brothers-in-law, Isiah Elijah of Muskegon, MI, Henry Moss of North Carolina, Theodis (L. na) Winslett Sr, Lynwood Winslett and John E. Winslett, all of Gary, IN. 3 sisters-in-law, Vinella Neal, Susie Johnson of Gary, IN, Betty Anderson of Decatur, IL. Special nephew, Derek Money of Gary, IN. Special niece Carolyn Anderson-Britt of Scottsdale, AZ and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. Visitation Sunday, December 11, 2011 from 12 to 8:00p.m. at the Guy & Allen Chapel, 2959 W. 11th Ave. Musical Tribute Sunday at 7:00p.m. at Christ Center, 635 Clark Road, Pastor Roosevelt D xon Jr., Pastor. Funeral services Monday, December 12, 2011 at 11:00 a.m. at New Mount Moriah Baptist Church, 1917 Carolina St. Rev. W.N. Reed, officiating. Interment Oak Hill Cemetery.
