He also loved dining out with family and friends and together with his wife, they held legendary New Year's Eve parties and annual pig roasts. Their house was an open door to their family and friends and their children's friends, many even moving in. Christ was a generous and resourceful man, many people turned to him for help when they had nowhere else to turn, as whatever you needed, he would find a way to get it for you. He was loud and brash, demanding and kind, funny, smart and loving and he will be missed by everyone who knew him but as he said every day after the loss of his wife "Better days are coming".
