Funeral for Beatrice Arrington, 84, of Boyd was Tuesday, Oct. 4, at Faith Tabernacle Assembly of God. Graveside service followed at Boyd Cemetery.

Arrington died Friday, Sept. 30, 2005.

Born Sept. 20, 1921, in Paoli, Okla., to Lon and Ardella Roberson, she was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Leland Arrington; two sons, Jimmy Drew Arrington and S. Dee Arrington and five brothers.

She is survived by a grandson, Greg Arrington and wife, Christine; three great-granddaughters, Cerissa, Megan and Allison Arrington; three sisters, Lavelle Mann and husband, Bill, Bobbie Ashton and husband, Tom, and Marcine Rebstock; sisters-in-law, Linda and Frankie Roberson; brothers-in-law, Ford Arrington and wife, Pauline and Fred Arrington and wife, Victoria; a daughter-in-law, Linda Arrington; and numerous nieces and nephews.

The family requests memorials be made to the American Cancer Society.
