He taught School at Poplar Bluff; Greenville; De Soto; and Fox; graduated cum laude at S.E.M.O. Born September 13, 1924 Walnut Ridge, Arkansas, he was the son the late Harry F. Sr. and Mary (nee Kirby) Acre. He is survived by his wife Lorraine (nee Hunter) Acre, De Soto, MO; Children: Frosty (Annette) Acre, Hillsboro, MO, Valerie (the late Terry) Eades, Scott City, MO; Brothers & Sisters: (preceded in death by the late Johnny Acre); Grandchildren: Patrick (Lacie) Eades, David Eades, Amanda (Kyle) Turner, Aaron Eades, Lee (Rebecca) Acre, Adam Acre, and Jordan Acre; Great Grandchildren: Bennett Eades and Justin Eades. Member of Church: First Baptist Church, De Soto, MO. Memorial Service: Monday, October 10, 2011 @ 7:00 PM at Dietrich-Mothershead Funeral Home. Officiated by: Rev. Dr. Jeremy Muniz.
