Mary Clay Bentley, 95, died Saturday, March 22, 2008. Services were held at the Carmichael Funeral Home Chapel in Marietta, with the Rev. Norman Markle officiating. Burial followed at Kennesaw Memorial Park Cemetery.
A lifelong Cobb County resident, Ms. Bentley was a member of New Hope United Methodist Church where she sang in the choir and was a communion stewardess. She was also a founding member of the Cheatham Hill Community Club and a member of the Highway Garden Club and Marietta Woman's Club.
Survivors include sons Robert and Larry Bentley and four grandchildren.
