Mr. Adams died at 12:25 p.m. Thursday at his home, 622 South Ninth.
He was born in Coryell County and owned a farm near Osage. He lived on his farm until he retired and moved to Waco about three years ago.
Survivors include two daughters, Mrs. E.F. Phillips of Route 6, and Mrs. John Alford of Waco; two sons, Alfred Adams of Waco and Willie Richard Adams of Gatesville; one stepson, Ralph Adams of Robinson; 10 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.

Note: Jim Adams and family came by covered wagon to Coryell County from Tennessee during the summer of 1889. Willie R. was born some-where along the way and was one month old when they all arrived in Coryell City and settled there.
