Nathan Corson, 61, prominent farmer and lifelong resident of this community, died at 6 p. m. today at his residence, three miles northwest of here. Death followed a lingering illness. Surviving are his wife, Effie; a son, Reuben; one brother, Edward, in Oklahoma; and two sisters, Mrs. Hannah Allen and Mrs. Bertha Ashbrook, both of Springfield. Services will be held at 2 p. m. Tuesday at the Bethel M. E. church, Rev. J. C. Ewing officiating. Burial will be made in Bethel cemetery.
