Vernice Klingman, 72, Oklahoma City, died July 24, 1992. He was born Dec. 3, 1919 in Garber, Oklahoma to Irl and Bertha Klingman. He was a longtime employee of Noble Drilling Corp., and retired in 1983 after 35 years of service, with outstanding awards for safety. His work took him to east Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama and Florida. Survivors include his wife, Joan, of the home; son, Lon Klingman, and daughter-in-law, Ruth, of OKC; daughter Jerry Klingman Chambers, and son-in-law, Larry, of Newcastle; step-son, Monty LeFlore, and daughter-in-law, Liz, of New Boston, Texas; one sister, Bunah Heston, and brother-in-law, Earl, of Sterling. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren.
