Mrs. Hugo Busch Sr., died at the family home at 117 East Dunklin street at 9:40 o'clock following an illness of more than five years of heart disease. Her condition was not regarded serious, however, until an unusually severe attack Monday night. Pneumonia developed yesterday which resulted in her death.
Mrs. Busch, whose maiden name was Lino Jung, was born in Muenden, Germany, April 16, 1870. She came to the United States when she was 15 years old. She was married to Hugo Busch who became one of the city's well known business men forty five years ago, about the time the Busch green house and florist business was formed. She lived, with her husband at almost the same address in the South Side in Jefferson until her death.
She is survived, in addition to her husband, by ten children, one sister and five grandchildren. The children are: Paul, Hugo Jr., Otto J., Walter, Marie, Herbert, Theodore, Arthur, Harold, and Mrs. Paul Wischmeier. The sister is Mrs. Joseph Kopp of Canada. The children all live here.
She was a life ling member of the Lutheran church and an active member of the ladies aid society of that church.
