Services for Verma E. Boggs, 67, Frankfort, will be held Monday 2 p.m. at LeCompte-Johnson-Taylor Funeral Home. Rev. Carl Jones will officiate. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
A native of Jenkins in Letcher County, she was a homemaker and member of Fellowship Baptist Church and a former member of Thursday morning Bowling League.
She was the daughter of the late James Martin and Martha Ann Cable Elkins.
She was the loving wife of Harold Boggs for over fifty years. In addition to Mr. Boggs she is survived by two daughters, Lavern B. (Felipe) Valdivieso, Frankfort, Sabra B. (Bus) Maslin, Richmond; sons, Harold A. Boggs, and Eddie S. (Rebecca) Boggs, both of Frankfort; sisters, Vernila Kelly, VA, Elizabeth (Belva) Lumpkins, Knoxville, TN, Alma Nash, Vandalia, OH, Mazella Phillips, Bristol, TN, Nellie Woods, Bristol, TN and a brother, Ossie (Dee) Elkins, Humble, TX; eight grandchildren, Cory and Adam Valdivieso, Amanda and Taylor Boggs, Hannah and Maya Maslin, Caleb and Sofia Maslin.
Pallbearers will be Omar and Manuel Valdivieso, Ben and Brad Popp, Robbie Stewart and Harold Walker.
