Second child born to Samuel Curtis Price and Mattie Tahlitha Grounds Price Reynolds. His older sister was Violet Sylvester Price Thornton. His mother and father divorced when he was 18 months old. His mother remarried a man named Reynolds. Arthur thought his name was Bill Reynolds until he was 16 or 17 years old when his father found him and even so he contined to use the name Bill for the rest of his life. He met Martha Breunell Price when she was 11 and courted her for 6 years. They eloped on Dec. 31, 1932 and were married in Atoka, OK at five minutes til midnight. He worked for the railroad and the Texas Pipe Line Co. He was in a cave-in that almost took his life the year before they were married. The mud covered everything except for his hat and luckily that was how they were able to rescue him. He was the father of four daughters (see Martha Bruenell Brunson Price) and the grandfather of 4 grandchildren. He died of a heart attack in PA. He was buried in PA and moved to OK at a later date.
