YUKON, OKLA. —

Margaret A. (Gann) Rice was born in Galatia on Dec. 25, 1943, and died on Monday, Nov. 28, 2011, in Yukon, Okla.

She was born and raised in Galatia and spent much of her life in Oklahoma City, Okla.

She spent her career working as a nurse. She enjoyed playing bingo, spending time with her grandchildren and making people laugh.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford Gann, "Sandy" and Maggie Gann, as well as her sisters, Mary Nevious, Lina Thompson and Edna Woodring; and her brother, Henry "Bud" Gann.

Margaret is survived by her children, Kathy Hare, Kerrie Rice, Kelly Miland, Michael Rice and his wife Kathy; and her sister, Helen Boydiddle.

Graveside services will be held 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, 2011, at Raleigh Masonic Cemetery. Those attending should go to the cemetery. Watson Funeral Home is in charge of local arrangements.
