[Frank] Moyer came to the Indian Territory in 1880 with his parents who first located near the present site of Nelson in Choctaw County, moving from Flint, Michigan.
Abraham Moyer, father of the deceased, moved to Antlers a few years later, and established the first lumber mill in this portion of the Territory on the Frisco railway which was completed in late 1885.
Associated with his father for many years in the lumber industry, the deceased [Frank Moyer] turned to ranching, which vocation he followed until his death.
