She was born November 5, 1946 in Norwich, CT daughter to the late Ernest and Blanche (Caron) Marcoux. Diane worked for many years as a Nurses Aide in the healthcare profession working as a private duty nurse. Prior to retiring she also worked for many years for the Pequot Tribal Nation. She loved her family and spent all her free time devoting it to them.
She is survived by her husband Bruce Fellows, Sr. of Lisbon, her son Bruce Fellows, Jr. of Norwich, her daughter Caron Bastien of Plainfield, five grandchildren, four great-granchildren, and a daughter Patricia Paquette of Plainfield. She was predeceased by a grandson Matthew Kennerson, and two sisters Marie Cassidy and Linda Rodd.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be 10AM Monday at St. Thomas Church in Voluntown. Interment will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery, Norwich. There are no calling hours. The Gagne-Piechowski Funeral Home 490 Voluntown Rd Jewett City, CT has been entrusted with arrangements. In lieu of flowers donations can be made in Diane's memory to American Cancer Society 85 Brook St. I-91 Tech Ctr. Rocky Hill, CT 06067.
