Barbara L. "Bobbie" Brown, age 74, of Grapeland, Texas died November 26, 2011 at her residence. Burial in Refuge Cemetery is under the direction of Bailey & Foster. She was born January 22, 1937 in Madisonville, Texas to Floy and Grace Atkinson Pyle. Mrs. Brown was a high school counselor and had been working for Alto Independent School District. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grapeland. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her sons, Howard Brown and wife Dina of Elkhart, Ralph Brown and fiancé Debbie Henderson of Grapeland; grandchildren, Travis, Ashley, Amy, Drew, Lauren, and Amanda.
