Mrs. Fanny M. Allaben, wife of Dr. Charles M. Allaben, 114 Murray Street, died in City Hospital at 1:50 o'clock this morning. Death resulted from a heart ailment. Mrs. Allaben was taken to the hospital at 7:30 o'clock last night. She was 56. Active in War Bond drives, Mrs. Allaben was a member of the Monday Afternoon Club, the Harmony Club, the Daughters of the American Revolution and West Presbyterian Church. Besides her husband, Mrs. Allaben is survived by a son, MM 1c Charles Moore Allaben, Jr., serving with the Seabees in the Aleutians; four daughters, Mrs. Ruth Mary Ives of Roxbury. Mrs. Alice Virginia Wales of Binghamton.
Miss Anne Elisabeth Allaben of New York City, and Miss Betty More Allaben a student at Wilson College, Chambersburg, Pa. The body was removed to the Prentice Funeral Home, 55 Main Street, where the funeral will be held Monday at a time to be announced. THE BINGHAMTON PRESS, FRIDAY EVENING, OCTOBER 5, 1945
