Services for Adolph Johnson Sr., 83, Bryan are set for 11 a.m. Saturday at Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church in Bryan.
The Rev. Craig Anderson of Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church will officiate. Burial will be in Wheelock Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. Friday and from 8 to 9 a.m. Saturday at Daniel & Son Funeral Home in Bryan.
Mr. Johnson died Monday in Sherwood Health Care.
He was born in Wheelock and was a lifelong resident of Bryan. He was retired as a salesman for the Kraft Furniture Store. He was a member of Pleasant Grove Baptist Church.
Survivors include his wife, Thelma Johnson of Bryan; two sons, Dr. Adolph Johnson Jr. of Sun City, Calif., and Wiley Bisor of Houston; two daughters and a son-in-law, Sue and Elijah Corley of Missouri City and Sharon Johnson of Jamesboro, Ark.; 21 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Barbara B.W. Walker Scholarship Fund.
