Funeral services for Ms. Genore Guillory, 42, will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday in St. Mathilda Catholic Church here with burial in the church cemetery.

Genore (Jane Nora) Guillory was born in Eunice January 4, 1958. She worked as an administrator at Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Arkansas in Baton Rouge. Ms. Guillory, a resident of Clinton, died at her residence on June 25, 2000.

She was a warm, beautiful woman who loved her family
and loved animals. She enjoyed the outdoors and spent much time with her horses and dogs and communing with nature.

Ms. Guillory is survived by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. Venore (Evelda) Guillory of Eunice; two sisters, Yvonne (Elbert) Guillory of Opelousas and Deborah (Don) McWhirter of Bowie, Md.; two brothers, Brian Guillory of Eunice and Karry (Chandra) Guillory of Sparksberg, SC; two stepchildren, Eddie Dixon Sr. and Trena Jackson; and a large number of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Guillory; and her longtime loving companion, Eddie Dixon Sr.

Visiting hours will be observed from 8 to 10 a.m.
Thursday in St. Mathilda Catholic Church in Eunice.
