Mrs. Harry (Clara Ida) Baehr, Route 1, Withee, died about 10:30 a.m. Friday at her home. Death was attributed to an apparent heart attack. She was 79.

Services were held on Monday at St. John's Lutheran Church at 11 a.m., with the Rev. Douglas R. Groenewold officiating. She was buried at the Riverside Cemetery near Withee.

Six of her grandsons served as pallbearers: David and Ted Baehr, Allen and Marvin Miller, and Gary and Mark Alger.

The former Clara Ida Beckman was born March 26, 1897 in the Town of Worden. She was married to Harry Baehr on May 17, 1916 at the Reseburg Lutheran Church, Town of Reseburg.

They farmed in the Town of Hixon all their married life. They celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary this year.

Survivors include her husband; three sons, Kenneth, Altoona, Norman, Mosinee, and Norbert, St. Paul, Minnesota; three daughters, Mrs. Edward (Ina) Miller, Loyal, Mrs. John (Rumilda) Englebretson, Chicago, and Mrs. Jack (Elaine) Alger, St. Paul, Minnesota; 21 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
