Funeral services for William Barnett, 46, who died Wednesday morning in the Mercedes General hospital, will be held at 4 p.m. Thursday in the Baptist church at Edcouch.
Mr. Barnett had been a resident of Mercedes for three years, and was formerly of La Ferla.
Burial will be in the Harlingen cemetery, and the Statler mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
He is survived by his wife. Thelma; three sons, Bentley of Sebastian, and James and Roy of Mercedes: four daughters. Mrs. Cecil Wood of El Paso, Mrs. T. D. Jordan of Georgia, and almau and Elizabeth Barnett of Mercedes; one sister, Mrs. J. B. Bartley of Mt. Vernon, Tex; and four grandchildren.
