He was listed on the 1890 special census of surviving soldiers, sailors, widows, etc., who served in the army of the United States during the war of the rebellion. He resided in Wills Point in 1890. His wife was Willie M. Christine, born 15 Jun 1843, died 21 Feb 1915. They are both buried at White Rose Cemetery. He has a GAR marker.
