McBee: Laura Bertie McBee, 95, a resident of Mimbres NM passed away Tuesday, Jan. 29 in Pinehill, NM. Se was born Sept 24 1906 in Shelby County, Texas. Mrs. McBee resided in Kern County, Calif. for more than 50 years and had lived in Grant County for the past 10 years. She is survived by daughters, Nova Necessary and husband Burton of Mimbres, and Norma Gordon and husband Robert, of Ramah. She was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Byron McBee Sr, a daughter Necia who died 3 days after she was born, and her son, Wesley Byron McBee Jr. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
