Radio talk show personality. Born Nelson Roger Behelfer in Rochester, New York, Neil was best known as a controversial South Florida radio personality for over 30 years prior to his retirement in 2009. Neil's show was radio gold in the South Florida radio market as it was consistently on top in the very desirable mens 18-24 and 25-54 demographic. Though openly homosexual, it did not inhibit his popularity. Caustic humor, satire and extreme political incorrectness were were the hallmarks of his show. Nothing was off-limits and no one was safe from his verbal barbs-flatulence, sex, gays, fat people, Jews (though he was atheist, he was born a Jew), French-Canadian tourists, Cuban refugees, the elderly, the pope, etc. In declining health for many years, Neil finally succumbed to congestive heart failure at Florida Medical Center in Lauderdale Lakes.
