Albert Agnew (sic) Acker, 45, died suddenly of a heart attack at his home in Detroit, Mich., Tuesday, after having been ill about four weeks. He was the son of the late William H. and Lucy McClintock (Agnew - sic) Acker and was born here.
The following survive: his widow who was Miss Reba Dunmore of Lebanon, sons Albert A. Acker, Jr., Detroit; Lt. Kenneth Acker, Miami, Fla.; Grant Acker, in the U. S. Navy, and Richard Acker at home; brothers, Conrad Acker, Lewistown and Lee Acker of York; sisters Ruth, Mrs. R. E. Wright and Amanda, Mrs. George Seaman, Newport.
Mr. Acker was employed at Republic Aircraft plant.
The body of Mr. Acker will arrive this evening at the Myers Funeral Home where services will be held at a time not yet determined. Interment in the Newport Cemetery.
