William Walter Blair, 69, Rt 2, Shubuta died January 12, 1957 Watkins Memorial Hospital following a heart attack. He was a shoe repairman in Quitman for the past 13 years. Survivors - wife, Mrs. Mary Elizabeth Blair; one daughter, Mrs. L. L. Dedwylder, Quitman; 3 sons, Kerney Blair, Pasadena, CA, Harry Blair, Sanoma, CA, John H. Blair, Rt 3 Shubuta; two sisters, Mrs. Daisy Fryer, Macette, CA, Mrs. Dora Clegg, Laurel; two brothers, Evan and Arthur Blair, Orange, CA; five grandchildren; funeral services held at Walters Funeral Home Chapel; Revs. Al Finch, Archie McIntyre and W. L. Meadows officiating. Interment DeSoto Cemetery. Walters Funeral Home in charge.
