Funeral services for Margy J. Long, 76, will be held 10AM Thursday, June 14, 2007 at Lakeside Church of Christ 2539 Moody Road, Orange Park, Florida with Minister Mike King officiating. Interment will follow in JACKSONVILLE MEMORY GARDENS CEMETERY. Mrs. Long, had a very strong faith in the Lord, she stood by her husband Minister Floyd L. Long for over 55 years while he preached the gospel and served the Lord. Mrs. Long was born on November 8, 1930, in Neosho, Missouri and went home to be with the Lord on June 11, 2007 in Jacksonville, Florida. Mrs. Long is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Floyd L. Long; two daughters, Nancy Smith and her husband Mark, and Bekki Schueler and her husband Keith; son, Jonny Keith Long and his wife Cindy; three sisters, Jean Wood, Ann Colvin, and Sue Thomlison and her husband Rob; eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and many other loving family members and friends. Mrs. Long was a devoted wife, mother, sister, grandmother and friend who will be greatly missed by all that loved and knew her.
